Hey! I'm Aaron, an Engineering Ph.D student at Berkeley with a major focus on computational solid mechanics. Welcome to my webpage where you can find an outline of my persona
through blog-style posts dedicated to my interests.
I am endlessly enthralled by the arts and submerge myself in workings devoted to expressions of the human experience. For me, this manifests itself through my involvements in:
music, literature, photography, Thai kickboxing, and skating.
I'm always open to chat and a good way to contact me is through my email at aaronimach at gmail dot com as I almost never leave an email left unopened. My site UI is tentative and
subject to change as I get more comfortable writing in html, but what you see now is what will likely remain for a while. In the meantime, you can also check out some of my
friend's websites:
- Ruijie - One of the first friends I made at Cal who thankfully shares my ridiculous sense of humor.
He's got a sharp eye for photography and his demand for quality inspires me to improve myself every day.
- Mel - Probably the sweetest and genuinely one of the most caring persons I've ever met. I'm incredibly thankful to have his constant
prescence in my life and his warmth to keep me grounded. But I also can't STAND him, please help me.
- Kyle - Why did he have to abandon his righteous path of mathematics for becoming a money-grubbing code monkey... Kyle is extraordinarily
laissez faire and couldn't offend anyone if he tried. He's a real cool dude and also keeps me sane when Mel is too much for me to handle.
- Kelanu - I've met a lot of odd personalities over the years but Kelanu is definitely within the top five most eccentric ones. I mean that in a
good way of course and his heart is always in the right place, but there's something indescribable about him that you have to see to understand.
